Like Blues Traveler, Moe is a jam-oriented guitar band from upstate New York that incorporates a wide range of styles -- blues-rock, country-rock, jazz, and funk -- into their music. After releasing two independent albums and touring the East Coast consistently during the mid-'90s, Moe signed with Columbia Records and released the John Porter-produced No Doy in the fall of 1996. Tin Cans and Car Tires was released two years later, and in 1999 Moe returned with Fatboy. L appeared the following spring and Dither was issued in early 2001.~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
