Producers Denzil Foster and Thomas McElroy constructed this San Francisco Bay Area vocal quartet. Members include Dawn Robinson, Cindy Herron, Maxine Jones, and Terry Ellis.En Vogue stayed in the spotlight in '93. They issued an EP, Runaway Love, and teamed with female rappers Salt-N-Pepa on the pop and Urban Top Ten hit "Whatta Man." They also toured with Luther Vandross, but that proved a less than positive experience as they dropped off of the tour before it was over. ~ All Music Guide
