Biography of Parliament

Parliament was George Clinton's most accessible and focused group. Although they lacked Funkadelic's sociopolitical edge, they were a better singles act and, on occasion, a better album act. Although they only made two front-to-back brilliant albums, almost everything they cut is worth hearing for the psycho-funk grooves, twisted story lines, and the skewered vision of Clinton. ~ John Floyd
