Biography of Night Ranger

This California-based rock quintet picked up the metal-pop baton from Journey and ran with it, amassing eight hit singles and several hit albums in the mid to late '80s. They weren't very original, but were perfect for both FM and Top Forty formats. The band's personnel included Kelley Kengy, drums/lead vocals; Jack Blades, bass, lead vocals; Jeff Watson, guitar; Brad Gillis, guitar; Alan Gerald, keyboards. ~ Larry Lapka
