Biography of Level 42

A Manchester pop-funk band led by bassist Mark King since 1972. The lineup has also featured Phil and Boon Gould, Mike Lindup, and part-time member and producer Wally Badarou. Their first singles were on the Elite label and their biggest hit was "Something About You" in 1986. In 1987 The Goulds left the band, replaced by Alan Murphy and Gary Husband. ~ Bil Carpenter
