Biography of Lesley Gore

The petite, but big voiced, Gore hit paydirt with her first record, "It's My Party," after being discovered by Quincy Jones (who produced her) at the age of 16. She held her own for a while against the mounting tide of the British invasion with several consecutive smashes.
