One of the few British acts to experience success overseas, EMF had a huge hit in 1991 with its throbbing, rock/dance/techno hybrid "Unbelievable." Other songs on the accompanying album, Schubert Dip, were good but none were as instantly memorable, although they had a follow-up hit with "Lies."
