Biography of Donna Summer

Summer starred in musicals across Europe in the early '70s. Along with Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte, she created an awesome hit-making machine during the disco era. Though crowned the Queen of Disco, Summer quickly abandoned the throne and set about establishing herself as a serious pop-rock singer, which she has in fact done. ~ Bil Carpenter
