Queensbridge, New York native Nas (born Nasir Jones) appeared on Main Source's "Live At The BBQ," and his first album Illmatic, appeared in 1994. The LP also showcased the skills of DJ Premier, Large Professor, Pete Rock, and Q-Tip. Biography of DJ Clue?

DJ Clue emerged from the New York City hip-hop underground during the mid-1990s with a monthly series of mix tapes that made him a cult phenomenon -- so successful were the tapes that they were even used as marketing tools by a number of mainstream record labels. In 1997, he also began hosting a syndicated radio show originating from the Big Apple's Hot '97; his major-label debut The Professional appeared on Def Jam the following year. ~ Jason Ankeny
