Current superstar rapper and producer Dr. Dre made his debut as part of the World Class Wrecking Cru in Los Angeles during the '80s. Biography of Blackstreet
Teddy Riley, one of the most innovative and successful R&B producers of the '80s and '90s, formed Blackstreet in 1994 with Chauncey Hannibal, Levi Little, and David Hollister. Under Riley's direction, Blackstreet's smooth fusion of pop, R&B, and hip-hop became an across-the-board hit upon its release.
