Biography of ? & the Mysterians

Question Mark & The Mysterians pretty much typify the '60s garage-punk experience. Sure, everybody knows their smash "96 Tears," and there were other, lesser hits, but now, who can name 'em? For some reason we were fascinated by Question Mark's mystery-man image that seemed to come straight out of big-time wrestling. We loved that monochromatic, Farfisa-driven throb that nearly every song mutated into. So it's no wonder that a decade later, another generation of punks would correctly draw inspiration from this bunch who came before. Hey, any of you label guys out there up for a reissue? ~ Steve Aldrich
