nuTsie News and Spotlights
Taylor Swift has staked her blonde claim to the 100 this week, with six of the top 10 songs. Swift returns to the chart with inadvertent aid from Kanye West; we hope he's getting a cut of the re-release of her multi-platinum album Fearless, because he gave Swift better marketing than any amount of money can buy. The re-release includes six new songs and, yes, all six have catapulted to the top of the pop music heap.
50 Cent also pops back up in the 100 with "Baby By Me," in which 50 tells a woman to have his baby because she can "be a millionaire" and then spends the next four minutes giving us a play-by-play of a romantic evening with his lady. Palimony and child support payments have never sounded so sexy.
In other 100 news, perma-feathered Bon Jovi has climbed to #80 with "When We Were Beautiful," a song from the band's documentary on Showtime.
See you next Friday for another iTunes Top 100 roundup. In the meantime, we'll be busy trying to have 50's baby. We want the million.
